Last night was an anticipated clash of titans in Atlantic City as CFFC 5's headlining bout featured notorious street fighter Kimbo Slice in his MMA debut against boxing champion "Merciless" Ray Mercer. The fight was hardly a disappointment! Watch the video here:

Finally -- Kimbo's MMA debut?
According to an article posted yesterday on fcfighter.com, Kimbo's first MMA fight is scheduled for June 16th (NOTE: The date has since been changed to June 23rd.) on the Cage Fury Fighting Championship 5 card against 45-year old boxing great Ray Mercer.
Supposedly, Kimbo's been hard at work training at Miami's Freestyle Fighting Academy with Charles Mccarthy (10-4-0) (who you might remember from The Ultimate Fighter 4), but since they've been seen on tape together as early as 2005, the MMA training started to slip into Kimbo's massive rumor collection. Yeah, this is the first mention of an actual MMA fight with Kimbo that wasn't announced on a forum, but even this one gets a "we'll see" label.
