It's true: Kimbo Slice has been knocked out in 14 seconds on tonight's EliteXC card.
At the last minute, Ken Shamrock suffered an eye injury during warmup and wasn't cleared to fight. Seth Petruzelli (9-4), a Karate champion, stepped up as his replacement. Weighing in at 205 and 1/2 lbs., Petruzelli was practically in another weight division as he teeped Kimbo back and jabbed his chin, dropping both the street fighting legend and all the myths of his invincibility to the canvas. |

Unhappy with North America's lead in headline-stealing street fighting incidents, Bolivia demands some recognition this week as protesters, revolting against the country's president, injured at least twenty people with clubs, machetes, and fists.
This is just a reminder of the nature of people anywhere. Every month a new fight video sensation appears on Youtube, usually between teenage girls. And every month a plethora of ill-informed lawmakers, school officials, and concerned parents clash their opinions with freedom-of-speech advocates in the neverending argument over what should be done. It's the same old song, with "experts" pinning more blame on social-networking sites like Myspace and Youtube than on the violent teens who commit these acts.

Got some pretty interesting news for you this week. By now Kimbo's heard all the trash-talk from the MMA world: Chuck Liddell specifically, who said he has no ground game and has achieved nothing. Kimbo recorded a video calling out Liddell for a street fight or anything else, but is this likely Kimbo's next fight?
