| Fight In One Week
I am going to get in a nice fight in a week, it's just going to be me and my friends having a friendly back yard brawl to test out our moves. Whoever wins, fights the next person who fights the next persn etc. Whoever wins will get some sort of MANLY prize.
The people I am going up against are very fast, VERY. Large (mainly muscle) and a lot of them go for body punches. They like to grab your arms, neck and body, note that they are not wrestlers. They like to throw you around, but they will not take you to the ground. They are very well ballaned and they are very hard to beat (Just some talk by my other friends who fought them in previous rounds. They say they are also very aggressive) I know how to fight, I have been in Martial Arts my whole life.
The #1 guy I am going up against is cocky, very cocky. Skinny, fast and ballanced. Hes not cocky but he is wating to put up a good fight. This gy also shows no mercy. I have never fought this guy before, but I know he is really agile. He always keeps his hands up This guy also has experience in previous martial arts.
The second other guy is big with muscle, a hard hitter, and goes for body shots. He is also very aggresive. He is also the one that grabs you if you are close to him. This guy mainly focuses a lot on punching. He usually doesn't have his hands up and he pushes you around, a lot. This guy is just one tough son of a bitch.
They also LOVE to move around and dodge in circles and backwards.
So, an tips, advice or things I should keep in mind when fighting these two people. They are my main focus and once I get past them, the rest is like a walk in a park. Have you ever fought someone that blocks your punches, kicks and knees instead of dodging or parrying them? If so, how did you manage to beat them in a ring or in the streets?
I wll try my best to get this on video, but both my cameras are broken and need to be fixed. I think I will borrow my friends camera and then I can upload it.
Thanks for your help;D

My first am. fight was against a guy who was like that. If I recall correctly, he was in his late 20s, and all the film I'd ever seen of his fights, he was trying to take someone's head off with a right hand. He was always coming in, and taking shots to the forearms, or blocking with both hands.
I just threw leg kicks, and after about 5, I switched to a brazilian kick and knocked him down.
Most people, especially those who don't have M.A. expirence, will get easily distracted by leg kicks. Land a few, and it becomes the only thing on their mind. You can fake a leg kick and go into a takedown. If you're comfortable with takedowns, do them.
When my friends have backyard gatherings such as this, I constantly take them down, and punish from the top, If I get swept, hold guard and pull a submission from the bottom.

Never take your eyes off your opponent... yes, not even for a second

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey.
Over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs.
They make a club.
And beat their brother, down.
How they survive so misguided is a mystery.
Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here
(Were you high when you wrote this...?) O and... Don't forget to LEVEL 'EM
Homies, I forgot about you. Well, it's good to forget about you because I don't honestly give a rats @$$ about you. Take your $#17 jokes somewhere else
