Default James Toney: "I Want Brock Lesnar"

It hasn't been 10 days since James Toney signed a contract to join the UFC, but the boxing legend is already going after the organization's top dog - heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

"I want Brock Lesnar. I'm the heavyweight champion of the world vs. the UFC champion," Toney said in this week's edition of HDNet's Inside MMA. "That'd be a hell of a match! Chuck Liddell, Brock Lesnar, Randy Couture, Tito, Tito Ortiz, whatever his name is, it doesn't matter. I'm not a sideshow. This is the real deal right here."

Although "Lights Out" has never set foot inside an MMA cage, he does own a dominant 72-6 professional boxing record, including 3 draws and 2 no contests. The IBF middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight titles have all been wrapped around Toney's waist at one point in time.

Lesnar owns a 4-1 record and was last seen annihilating Frank Mir at UFC 100 en route to unifying the heavyweight crown. After the lopsided effort, Lesnar contracted mononucleosis and parlayed that into an infection that ate away at his intestines.

Toney joined another former boxing champion, Ray Mercer, and KJ Noons on the panel with hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten in the latest edition of Inside MMA.
