 WEC 47 Fighters Tested Clean
The Ohio Athletic Commission has confirmed with MMAJunkie.com that all six WEC 47 fighters tested for drugs have had their tests come back clean.
The regulating body looked for recreational drugs of abuse such as cocaine and marijuana in addition to performance enhancing drugs like anabolic steroids.
Main event fighters Brian Bowles and newly crowned WEC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz were tested in addition to Joseph Benavidez, Javier Vazquez, L.C. Davis and Bart Palaszewski.
