Newgrounds is hosting this visual novel called Air Pressure. It has a lot of branches and three endings, and is quite serious. But lately I haven't been able to get her out of my head.

I'd appreciate it if you all played the game without reading spoilers and tell me what you think of the girl.

I actually felt like breaking down in tears, since it's exactly the same as the way me and my ex broke up. I still hope I will be independant and strong without her. Almost two weeks ago now, and I'm feeling kinda good about it.

is it always the same ending? cuz ive done it different like 3 times and i get the exact same ending lol i was expecting something more like johny rocketfingers but interesting nonetheless wasnt in the mood for getting all sentimental though lol so sorry i cant relate to that, ending a relationship is not hard for me (at least for now)

There are three endings- one where you get closer to her, one where you live as you always have with her, and one where you get her to leave.

I think I'm going to take this branch:
-go out
-stop and wait
-tell her I need to be alone
-don't pine for her

And from here, you decide how you want to end it- you should be able to get any ending from this branch.

Sorta. Can't remember all of it.

The girl reminds me of something I don't feel like talking about. Metaphorically, she's a rich character.

I know, I didn't get any references till I read spoilers. But once I did all sorts of similar connections flew into place, and I couldn't help but find myself... thinking about her... even though what she is to me isn't what she was in the game.

it ended happily ever after with us getting closer, though i woke up in a hospital for a reason i dont understand.

sadly, theres no such thing as happily ever after in real life and i was also left thinking about my ex. long time ago tho so what's a guy to do

*MAJOR FUCKING SPOILER BELOW*

It is a symbol for addiction. The girlfriend in Air Pressure isn't real, he has a substance problem. That is why she fades in and out in the last scene before you wake up in the hospital. Your character was coming down off his high before he overdoses.

I noticed it first play through because when she was fading in and out then the hospital gave it away. I tried it again and got the other two and I never would have noticed he was an addict in them because it is very subliminal hints such as, "we had no other friends." and then when he is in the crowd and describes it as being cold.

A lot of my friends have or had drug problems. Hell some of them are dealers now.

Edit: I am pretty sure to be specific the drug is PCP, it just comes across as how my friend was on it. Doomrater if this counts as giving it away, sorry just remove my post(I think you are able to do that).

Second Edit: After waiting a few hours to play through again to see it all makes a lot more sense. The intro is the give away, "She wrapped herself around my left arm..." you shoot up in your left. I will write more tomorrow unless Doomrater wants this all gone.

Kinda reminds me of some of the relationships I've had except I'm not a drug addict and I don't give a shit about them now.
