I think studying 'MMA' is kinda weird. I mean the term is "Mixed Martial Arts", meaning comprised of two or more martial arts. It isn't a martial art itself! "I'm training in MMA", might be better said, "Dude! I'm learning octagonal 'ring' sport fighting!...=D"

By the way I fight in a triangle. Because I can't meet the expectations of fighting in something with 8 sides  hahaha
Also I fight in a circle (but only in parking lots and circles made out of people lol)

First off, since when was MMA just for the Octogon? You do realise there are many other divisions and assosiations that hold MMA tournaments?

Mixed Martial Arts does not consider itself a Traditional Martial Art. It's mixed, meaning it takes from various martial arts.
