Default Head ache after sparring

It happened yesterday. I already had a headache in the morning before i spar because it rained and i had no umbrella. i dont feel good that time, but in the afternoon i still trained for boxing. then when i spar, i got hit in the right chin by a left hook and i feel my brain shaked, lol, it was my first time feeling that. then when i go down in the ring i feel a head ache, like my brain is beating, then i went home and sleep, when i woke up today i still feel the headache and i feel sleepy all day today. -_- so is it okay to continue sparring and boxing training? or should i rest for days or weeks?
and that is my second sparring. my guard is always down.

It's not normal, and you shouldn't spar or box anymore until you go to the doctor. In fact go to a doctor as soon as possible.

I had a headache for the first time after my 8th match and it lasted for a week. I went to see a physician and told me to get an MRI and it turned out I was hemorrhaging blood from my brain, potentially a very fatal condition. Luckily nothing come of it and the bleeding subsided on it's own, but if you're not lucky the bleeding continues and pressure starts to build up in your skull and if your skull isn't drilled to relieve the pressure you could die.

I just hope for your sake it's only a simple concussion.

For me the pain was sharp and localized to the left side of my head. If I hit a heavy bag it made it hurt (or any quick or jarring movement like quickly turning my head, or jumping).

Don't take any pain killers for it, you don't want to mask the pain in case it gets worse. You need to be able to tell if it's subsiding on it's own without medication.

Though to be honest, if it's a dull pain and you feel sleepy, it seems more like a concussion symptom.

I was gonna suggest taking a nap(helps me all the time), but it seems like you're getting better. If not, see a doctor.

Is the pain you're feeling like real pain or light headness or vertigo?
