| | Bujinkan ninjitsu or Wing tsun
I have recently come into contact with 2 separate styles of martial arts. I know I have recently made a poll about this but being the indecisive bastard that I am, I like to get a 2nd opinion on things like this :P
I am a black belt in Arnis/Escrima. One thing I love about this style is that because it is so versatile, it allows the practitioner to cross train in other styles after a while. I have already dabbled in boxing, kickboxing and shaolin kung fu. I have recently experimenting by training in Bujinkan ninjitsu and will soon be taking part in a Wing tsun class. Luckily all the classes are free for the first few lessons, so I will be getting a good taste of each system. Here are some clips for visual aid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG_bAzalHoQ
(This is the brand of escrima I trained in in Ireland. I'm the Jolly green giant in this one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D03yhB_6r-0
(Bujinkan ninjitsu with some capoera..Sadly the only video that actually demonstrates some techniques) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2ZNxCfw7vI
(Wing Tsun with some escrima implemented)
Many of my senior peers have gone into Wing tsun because of the similarities in footwork and rapid strikes. I've seen that Bujinkan offers the same versatility that escrima does in joint manipulation and weaponry . It also throws some all around skills in the mix which isn't found in the wing tsun.
Help me fighttips. Your my only hope
You are a charlatan until you are not
