Money Saving tips for supplements
1. Shop around. Yesterday, I went to 3 different Vitamin Shoppe stores and saw different prices and different sales at each one. Look around and find the right place. Some stores dont have the same stuff as others. For example, GNC didnt have Waximaize, but Vitamin Shoppe did.
2. Make sure you use the right protein for the right time. Before/after workouts and early in the morning, you want a fast protein - Whey. At night before going to bed, use casein (egg whites).
3. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! This is how I got 2lbs of Whey Protein for 5 bucks, Fish Oil for 5 bucks, and a box of meal replacement bars for 10 bucks - Go up to the person in charge and ask what's about to expire. The closer the date, the lower the price - AND YOU CAN HAGGLE if its low enough. Some of them dont expire for maybe 6-10 months, but get marked down some, but stuff expireing in 1-2 months gets DOWN and you can ask more. In retail, they need to get rid of that stuff to make room for new stuff, so you're doing them a favor by buying it.
