Firstly you dont have to fight. Theres really no need.

But since youll just ignore that: (I hope not)

All of the above:

Of course it depends how much time you have but get fitter, get better (technique wise) and strength wise.

For cardio: run, practice on the bag, cycle, skip etc.

For technique: you do classes so you should know the proper technique but just make sure you have it right. And practice!

Weights is probably the thing you need least unless you have plenty of time. Look up some exercises if you dont know any but focus on the biceps and triceps.

Another thing you want to prepare is your brain: get confidence, be sure of yourself. Keep telling yourself you are going to win.

And before the fight: be prepared to get hurt, expect it. That way when you do it isnt a suprise and you can carry on fighting.

Getting ready for a fight.

This is obviously a street brawl, right?

Stuart has it ALL the way. Listen to him.

If you are getting ready, it's all on whatever your outcome of things are. If your "Brawler" is fat, train speed. If hes nice and light, put on the muscle. If hes regular, go for both. It all depeneds on who you are fighting.

I would say just do some drills and practice your techniques. Weights should come last (Like Stuart said: This is because it takes longer and more work for your muscles to grow and get bigger. So depending on the time you have, I wouldn't do it)

Focus on your speed and technique. Train lots, work on heavybag and mitts & pads, that is, if you have some.

Dumb school fights. Wouldn't even waste my time. Anyhow, can't really prepare in a week. Either you know your shit or you don't. Best of luck though.

- Water
- Nutrition Bar
- Ear Blasting music
- Confidence
- Support

You can train speed by just shadow boxing.
Don't aim your shots, don't pull back when jabbing.
You just snap your arm, keep it so it's covering your face, snap it and don't let it drop, try and do it and try and do it faster and faster.
