Hmm I just street boxed a bigger opponent ..Im no boxer ..I train mma Muay Thai and ju-jitsu..But he out weighs me by 57 pounds..and was taller..I used timing...and speed../counter punched..Let him get tired then bom him..Oh and i know my hands were down but i chose to keep them down to keep them fresh for speed ...i knew i could dodge him so i saved my energy..my first cage fight is march 20th at 125 pounds..Hit me up on youtube ill have my cage fight up there a day after

Yup you could, but only if you wind him first, and thats the harder bit.

Because you're not always able to do that. It's the same as saying "If it's a shorter fighter, why not just pat his head"

what also works I have found on taller people is if you are several times stronger is just to grab hold of them. If I am standing 12" away from someone 12 " taller about the only thing they can hit is the top of my back where the trapezius is and I have extremely large ones that will just deflect the blows they won't be able to do much.
