Do Filipino Martial Arts use a belt system? I've seen some videos with a Kali/FMA school in Norway that were using belts and had exams, which I found strange because I always had the impression that FMA doesn't use belt systems.

On the other hand I checked the credentials of that Kali instructor from my city. Turns out from what I've read he didn't even fucking train in Kali, just in Wing Chun, Tai Chi Chuan and Wushu. How can he possibly be teaching Kali?

luther i was wondering about the effectiveness of dumog for use by bouncers, from what ive seen it looks ideal, however i understand it is combined with a lot of strikes, so i was just wondering if it would still be as effective without the hitting which is now highly discouraged on the doors
