Don't let Soul's BS get to you. He trained in Masato's gym, he's not his actual trainer. Soul lives in NY now, not Japan. Regardless, Masato is a great fighter.
I appreciate and respect you're apology.
I understand your detachment from the situation, I do, because becoming a nervous wreck or having an emotional breakdown over every bad situation is frankly fucking stupid. Bad shit happens, we move on.
What I took offense to was that you made it out that cold blooded murder was no big deal when compared to 2 girls 1 cup, that is what offended me.
Like I said, I understand not living and dying over the good and bad of the world, but you should still sympathise with the victim and their family, you just came off as completely uncaring and that's what annoyed me.
To be honest I'd like to drop the whole thing, this is fighttips after all, not a thesis on the moral and ethical ramifications and implications of guro or some shit.
I'm up for forgetting all this shit if you are.
"For sure I get angry, I get mad, and sometimes I want to say bad things but I am a martial artist. I stand for something and I fight for something and it’s not my style to talk like that even though sometimes it’s hard. It’s a lot harder to not [talk smack] than to let yourself go and be disrespectful. That is my nature. I want to take the high road" George "Rush" St. Pierre
