Yeah, if all goes well. She's hinting that she's going to hold off booking her army physical until I do my CFAT test. If that doesn't work out, I'm going to ask her to dinner.

Yes it is. I see your instructor has attended seminars of Vlad's.

A lot of the blending is great defensively, really teaches you to relax so muscles aren't always being wasted, incoming strikes don't hurt as much, and are more easily dodged for training in taking the target area away.

Those two badass russians on that episode of Deadliest Warrior, spetsnaz vs green berets. The one clip where the guy just stood there and took shots to the stomach is something we go over in systema a LOT.

    *EDIT*
Actually, they say it better than I could

A question comes up about systema at 7:45-ish

Hey man, that's pretty awesome. What's your instructors name? Vlad usually has all his accomplished students posted.

It's a strange art to get used to, but I'll tell you that if trained right? No other martial arts are going to help with your systema, that's why I don't know about it being a "base" system, but knowing systema definitely comes into a lot of other martial arts.

    Hey man.

I found her facebook and added her, and I attempted to send her a message but facebook won't allow me.

    Thanks for asking.

BoxerJay was banned over several things. It was a deal for a little while. He wasn't happy with me and the other moderators.
