Sorry, more meaning is lost from the change in context than in the translation... this is hardly anything to complain about.

If anyone has read the ENTIRE Bible for themselves and actually understood it (which may require a couple of times reading through it), they will ultimately find Him. If they don't, maybe they are just thick headed? Or genetically Atheist, haha.
God is not visible unless you are looking - or if He is looking for you. If you are looking and you do not find Him, maybe your reasons for searching are not right.

I personally never found a reason for caring. I don't disbelieve in God, but the answer to me doesn't matter. What good is a god if he demands he be known? It's not who you follow or what you believe but what you do. We had a discussion before on morality being the stem of religion, and whether or not religion did create morals and guidelines, very few would argue that not treating each other respectfully or living by those rules is justifiable. I always figured, I'll live my life. If the world was created, or if the world just came to be doesn't change how I am now. And the way I live my life coasts along the basic guidelines of nearly any religion. So if I were to live that way, and God sends me to hell simply because I didn't worship him? He was never fit to worship in my eyes.

If you are looking and you do not find Him, maybe your reasons for searching are not right. | ive read the whole bible more than once. i didnt understand all of it but got it for the most part. i believe in god. but i dont go to a church, to be honest i only have a few christian friends.
i agree with toxic, if hell is wht you get for not worshipping god then i wont worship him. im not the kind for submission. i wasnt made to bow. and im still confused about certain parts of the bible.
i think that christianity is slowly giving up its moral ground, inch by inch, eventually it will probably condone everything in society, which is sad. the church should be standing up against all of the evils of society but it isnt and it wont. its sad.

I don't understand when and why religions went from being a culture of doing the right thing and living a just life to worshipping something invisible yet omnipotent and conscious. Why must there be a grand judge, why is it holy to worship a dead man who spoke for god unlike like any other man. I believe the responsible approach is to be your own judge, and remember your not anyone else's either. If I could create a new ideal species in my image, they would not be required to suck my dick; that would be counter-productive to optimization of a happy life and good values, while balancing its own existence with each others.

and how do you know what is true?

It is a notorious fact that the morality of the society as a whole is in inverse ratio to its size; for the greater the aggregation of individuals, the more the individual factors are blotted out, and with them morality, which rests entirely on the moral sense of the individual and the freedom necessary for this. Hence every man is, in a certain sense, unconsciously a worse man when he is in society for he is carried by society and to that extent relieved of his individual responsibility. - Carl Jung, The Relations between the Ego and the Unconscious
