I agree with everyone else. It's hard to get into the habit of throwing your hips into every punch, and it takes practice. If you're not good enough at doing it yet, toss some weak jabs, and follow up with a heavy hit from your strong arm. I perfer using hooks because I like being in my opponents face. I guess this isn't a street fight though. :x But yeah, use your hips for power, as well as your back leg. You really have to use your whole body to maximize a punchs capability.
