yeah i probebly am.. i know my hands are bruised but theyll toughen up...
my finger is really paying for it....
unfortunatly i cannot really kick my bag as it is a small 50kg one... i use the gym bag for my kicking... at the moment im oinly using mine for my stand up and boxing technique... as thats were all fights start... on your feet and dukes up...
what do you suggest i practise on the bag... im doing combos... hooks, jabs, straight and upper cutts... as well as elbows and such but i am going to start head butts.... it will get me used to teh dissyness afterwards....
any ideas and or tipps for me guys?

Hey harmless, here is a how to boxing hand wrap video from my instructors at Daddis FC:
and here is a heavy bag workout I posted on another thread: Quote:

If you want to build up explosion, do sprints in between or during rounds. Throw 20 jab crosses, then go right back into your regular ruitine. Next round, clinch with the bag (grab around the leather, don't hand on the chains) and do 50 skip knees (fully extend your leg out to the side, and bend it in, striking with the pointy inside of your knee), then get right back to your ruitine. Try ending each punch combo with a kick, then a jab out.
For Matt, the boxer, practice all of these except the kicks and knees. You can still practice the boxers clinch, pushing off with the shoulder, and some dirty boxing. I used to watch the boxing trainer, he'd hold the bag and have his student throw 10 body hooks, then end with a hook up top. They'd step out to the right, and do it again, until they went around a full circle. I would do this with all combos, though. Step out to the left and jab, slip under cross, slip under to the left simoltaneously throwing an overhand right, lead hook to the body, then jab out. 20 punches sprint, etc.

You don't look strong, you look fat. How much do you bench, squat and deadlift? Infact, you said you're a weightlifter, so how much do you snatch and c&j?

lol yckm. i no longer drink. ive been taking protein and a high protein diet. in the next few weeks i should see a bit of a difference. i started at 113kg and im now 110 - 109kg. ive lost an inch off of my stomach so i think im going alright so far.
im going to start running more now. im not too fussed about losing size with long distance running. so long as i slim down i dont really give a shit...
thanks for the confidence boost.
as for the tatts yea i got them dont about 6 or so months ago. my next one might be a tiger down my arm and onto my chest. though i wanna lose weight first....
pm me a pic of your tatts.. what are they....

No, you're not a weightlifter, you're a guy who lifts weights. There is a big difference. Weightlifting is in the olympics. I know exactly what I'm talking about when I say you look fat and not strong, I myself am a powerlifter, and I bench as much as you do at 86kg bodyweight, with the bench being my worst lift. I also squat 150kg and deadlift 170kg.
also: "i do not dead lift my legs or anything else. just dead lift my bench."
this makes you sound really stupid, and proves that you do not know what you are talking about.
