Re: Training vs Experience
Clover, You got to learn how to use your techniques on a resisting opponent, Training and Expeirence are both VERY important, just spar more often, spar hard once a week or so...spar lightly as much as you want, you can also ask your instructor for more details maybe.
like say...a football player...they are taught to be very agressive and be in good condition, they have technique for thier tackling as well. They can take a hit usually cause they get tackled alot and it probably gets them tougher, I have wrestled a football player once (he also wrestled) at this time, I had VERY LITTLE experience in sparring and he dominated most of the fight, but deep inside I knew I could take him
Eventually, I got my agression back and I started getting more experience in fighting. Now IM way above the guy I wrestled.
You need to train and you need experience also, Don't be afraid to get hit and train, It's ok to be afraid to get hit but take it like a monster and fight back, block, avoid, sometimes u might even exchange blows! but don't get careless and running into knockout blows, thats what gets u knocked out LOL!!!
But I seen people charge in Power kicks while avoiding it (fedor charging in cro cops Kick) But I think you know what I mean
face your fears, spar more often LET YOUR INNER BEAST OUT!!!
This video should help you
*edit* I hope no one took the spongebob thing seriously. LOL
