Re: Training vs Experience
Training won't help without the Experience (basilcy know how) to use it propperly, you can get the fittest man in the world into a ring with a guy who has just barly enough fittness to kill ya, and the fitt guy, without any fighting exp, will surly die...
Seriusly, you can't be a good ring fighter if you don't train hard, you can't, Ali and Tyson both lost fights due to taking training too lightly, BUT in the real world, you don't really need too much fitness, you need to NOT be a fucking bodybuilder who would die from cardio trouble if he thought hard enough about doing something, but other then that, you're pretty much safe caus I myself have never been in a street fight, or seen a street fight or heared of a street fight that lasted longer then 4 min... most last for 40 sek...
person 1: basicly, hitting pads and what not, roadwork, bagwork, would it have made you able to preform in the ring if you never did sparring?
person 2: but on the other hand, if you didn't do roadwork, you didn't hit the mitts, didn't go 12 rounds on the heavybag ect ect, but knew the techinics and sparred hard lots, you would still stand a much better chance then person 1
not to mention, there's a difrence between being in fight shape and just being in shape, it's fully possible for a guy to be able to go 8 hard round on the thai pads, but not bea able to last 2 rounds in the ring with that stamina, where as it's also fully possible to be able to go 3-5 rounds in the ring no problem, but not last 2 rounds on hard padtraining....
