|  Homies Sparring
Hopefully the guy from my gym uploads the sparring and training video we had tonight, it was pretty good. He's one of the guys who came from the other local gym when the 2 merged together.
He's only 14, but has had alot of amatuer sparring matches and has a wicked ground game...tapped me outl like ten times (not in the video) and i have about 25 pounds on him. Although he does like to throw haymakers.....he doesn't exactly hit hard due to his weight but hes got punches in bunches i had to cover up. Kicks hard to, great sparring match imo.
Heres a highlight of him until he hopefully uploads our kickboxing sparring

Boss I found it, I have no idea how he had time to edit it, but yeah im the taller one. And if your wondering, the camera was filmed at the mirror so everything is backwards, im not south paw.

Yeah i normally like to, but for some reason i was covering up any time he would throw flurries. I normally like to trade shots not cover lol

Hahaha always thought you were black.
He's pretty good but he throws a shit tion of haymakers. It might be effective because people might not know what to do against them but it just doesn't make you look like a good experienced fighter.

Awesome, Homies!
I loved the composure and footwork. Your defense was good, you have a very good helmet guard. He slowed it down for his flurry at 2:03, but you blocked every punch. Just try to step to the side, or step into him instead of backward. Other than that, great job. You worked your long jab great. Kicks looked good, and set up well with punches. The countering was good, too!
some tips:
- Bring your jab hand back to gaurd before you throw another jab. When you double jab, you don't bring it back enough, before you fire another jab and it leaves your left side open.
- Try throwing double kicks. You were landing great kicks, that stunned him. You can throw a leg kick, draw back, same side body kick. Or body/body.
- You do tend to drop your opposite hand when punching. This is a problem everybody has and can be fixed through more sparring and shadowboxing. Really pay attention to keeping that guard hand glued to your head!
