it takes less then a second to react and if your ten feet away then you can get out of the it takes a few big steps to get to him and if you run to the person thats faster theres no way he can pull it back again for a second strike before you can get to him. your better of just swing it in a circle around you then you have a full radious of ten feet where one strike means death.
Fighting Style: MMA-Ground and submissions is where im most comfortable.

You dont even have excuse of its for work or anything, you have fashioned something into a weapon for fighting they wouldnt take kindly to that, plus this thing will fail if you used it in a fight. we aint in the movies this is real life

I see the use of this weapon turning bad real fast.It takes alot of practice this type of weapon.Or any other weapon might I add.You should at least train with just the rope to get the movements down.Or you'll just stab or cut yourself.Or you could miss an get teeped like the other guy said. I seen this weapon in karate movies but just think how long you have to train to use it.All the time you used to try to master the use of the weapon you could've just perfected a fighting style.Or atleast upgraded your skill level.
