| Food the night before a fight?
This being the first real time I cut weight for a fight, I'm wondering what kinds of foods I should eat to gain back the energy and power lost from cutting. I weigh in on Friday between 3:00 - 7:30, then I fight the next morning. I'm guessing I should eat carbs and protien, fruits and vegitables? Any course examples, please?
Thanks in advance, everyone!

I did Chicken Parm at Olive Garden the last time I cut weight
I'm gonna get a small sandwhich and pedialyte to eat RIGHT after I weigh-in, because the line at Olive Garden was long as fuck.
You also want to eat your meal slowly. I ate too much too fast, and I still felt full the morning after (glad I didnt have to fight).
My goal is to be 147 after my meal.

This is the course I'm planning:
WEigh-in: 6-inch turkey with lettuce, tomato, onions. Pedialyte (GRAPE)
For the actual meal:
Appetizer: I may or may not do soup - but if I do, Pasta e fagiole (might split it with somebody), plenty of breadsticks
Entree: Chicken Parm (I think, or I might go with something else, but DEFINITELY a pasta dish)
Drink: Peach Tea (simple sugars to get my body replenished)
If we decide to go elsewhere, I'll stock up on carbs someway. Potatoes, noodles, rice, whatever. I'll avoid red meat, because it's harder for the body to break down. ANd I might stay away from raw greens because they fill you up.

A FUCKING BIG BOWL OF PASTA, best source of carbohydrates, you will wake up full of energy and on your way to the fight eat a chocolate bar, the sugar will help u quick energy XD many boxers do that according to my trainer

My one training partner at Silver Wolf swore by small amount of chocolate after the fight. Like keep eating little pieces until the fight.

The simple sugars by the way are like gatorade after a workout. That year, I drank peach tea because on the way there, I kept on seeing ads for McDonald's Sweet Tea, and I was craving it soooo bad.

id say depending on your weight in the morning is what you do. if you weigh in shy you could eat to get the extra weight, or if you weighed in heavy eat a decent meal and then do some heavy cardio to lose the weight shy from the weigh in. that would be a guess though because im no pro and ive never had to cut or weigh in before

I don't want to have to workout the day of my weigh in. I'm hoping I'm just at or just under 125.
